Mr. Dan Gray

Dan is married to Samantha Besecker Gray, and they have three wonderful children, Camille, Luke, and Zaiah, as well as two dogs, Fia and Pax, a rabbit named Sherlock, and unnamed red wiggler worms.  Dan enjoys performing in community theatre with his thespian family, hiking, the outdoors, river rocks, action/adventure movies, travel, ancient and church history, and apologetics.  

He is an ordained Elder in the Global Methodist Church, currently serving as an associate pastor of Pleasant View Church in Abingdon. Dan is also an immigration attorney. He has taught courses in philosophy, political science, ethics, and law as an adjunct instructor at King University and Northeast State Community College. Dan co-founded Be The Bridge Bristol, a Christian ministry dedicated to racial reconciliation through small group dialogue and friendship.  

Dan is pursuing a DThM in Archeology and Biblical Studies with Northwind Theological Seminary. He has also completed a year of doctoral studies at Asbury Theological Seminary; a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University Divinity School; a J.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill; and a B.A. in Pre-law with Engineering Emphasis from N.C. State University.  He is an Eagle Scout.
