MR. TIM HENSLEY
Mr. Tim Hensley earned a B.A. in English from Carson-Newman College in 1985. He works as a nurseryman and freelance writer. His essays have appeared in a variety of publications including: Fine Gardening, Highlights for Children, Old-House Journal, Homelife, Old Farmer's Almanac, Smithsonian Magazine, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden guidebook, The Best Apples to Buy and Grow.
Tim is a member of Paperville Baptist Church in Bristol, Tennessee, where he serves as the adult Sunday School teacher.
"All but one of my 8 children have taken classes from Tim Hensley. I am confident in teaching English myself but his classes cover material that I appreciate having someone else teach. I truly attribute my children's success in college level English (and their ability to write well on the college level) to their having taken Tim Hensley's Grammar and Comp., Creative and Advanced Writing and Philosophy/Church History classes. I give the highest praise for his classes."
